Creativity Corner
Dickeyville has a long history of resident creative artists. Its only a guess, but they are possibly drawn to the village by its unique, sometimes quirky, character homes along with its tranquil atmosphere and proximity to nature.
Previous creative residents include; Maryland poet laureate Lucille Clifton; author Laura Lippman; artist Robert McGill Makall (1889-1982) and painter Sheryl Schmidt (who contributed artwork used within the village website logo).
